Fadi Fawaz account was disabled after the tweets were sent.
George Michael’s partner’s Twitter account had several tweets claiming the singer died by suicide.
“The only thing George wanted is to die. He tried numbers of times to kill himself many times and finally he managed.
“We loved each other very much and were together almost 24 hours a day,” the tweets said.
Twitter users criticised Fadi for posting personal details on the singer’s death on social media.
However, soon after the tweets were sent the account was disabled.
Fadi now claims that he did not send them and that his account was hacked.
“I am shocked with what’s going on with the Twitter thing. He told the Mirror.
“My Twitter account has been hacked and closed.”
”It’s a bit scary to be honest. I did not send those tweets.”
”I woke up at 11.30am to the news. I am not going to worry about these things.”
Fadi also said that he did not spend the night with George before he died as he fell asleep in his car.
The cause of the singers death is still unclear after a post mortem into his death proved “inconclusive”.
The star was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, on Christmas Day. He was 53.
