Keanu Reeves is back!

After 23 years, everyone’s favourite humble Hollywood star has announced that he is going back on the road with his band.

Following on from a performance this week at the Roxy in Los Angeles, the rock band, Dogstar, composed of Keanu Reeves on bass, vocalist Bret Domrose, and drummer, Rob Mailhouse, announced that they’re dropping a new album and will be on the road next month.

Taking to Instagram, the group wrote: “WE ARE BACK!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Roxy last night.”

The post continued: “We are so excited to announce our new album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees out on October 6th on our label Dillon Street Records.

“A very limited quantity of signed vinyl is available in the Official Shop – act quick! Listen to the lead single “Everything Turns Around” & watch the music video now. Next month, we kick off our 25+ date headline tour in North America & Japan. Get tickets this Friday at 10am local time. VIP packages available.”

In addition to the new album, Dogstar will be touring across the U.S. and Japan in August.

Dogstar formed in the ’90s and previously reunited on stage for the first time in over 20 years at Napa Valley’s BottleRock festival.

While the dates so far are strictly in the US and Japan, fans flocked to the comment section below the original post to beg the band to play in venues across the world.

Hopefully there’ll be some more dates added soon.
