Here comes the money…
Singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has had a rather successful 2019 so far, hitting the top of the UK charts in March with his single ‘Someone You Loved’.
He’s probably on top of the world right now – so he’s acting like a big shot in the right way, by coming out on stage to classic WWE entrance themes.
Capaldi played The 1 for New Music Stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Middlesborough, and opened his set by coming out to familiar strains of ‘Here Comes the Money’, the iconic entrance music of Shane McMahon.
He was even flanked by guys with money guns, firing out (presumably not real) bills into the crowd.

There were no Hell In A Cells around for Capaldi to jump off of, however, nor were Steve Blackman or The Big Show around to do a run it.
Other acts that played at Radio 1’s Big Weekend included Stormzy, The 1975, Little Mix, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish.
Lewis Capaldi is also currently at the top of the UK album charts with his record Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, and gave this incredible interview to the Official Charts.
For this week, @LewisCapaldi is king of the Official Albums Chart 👑 As you'd expect, he's handled the news graciously… https://t.co/TJnTLpi5XK pic.twitter.com/k0ACboDtQG
