It’s been a little over four months since Chester Bennington died.
The Linkin Park singer took his own life at his home in California. His death came as a huge surprise to his family, friends, bandmates and fans, all of whom will still be working through their feelings and hurt.
When we lose someone, we need to say goodbye to them. The remaining members of Linkin Park held a tribute concert to Chester over the weekend in Los Angeles, where a host of guest singers took to the mic to pay their respects to the late frontman.
“I don’t have the words,” said rapper and leader Mike Shinoda as the show began. “I don’t think any of us do.”

Though the show featured talent from bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, Korn and Alanis Morissette, Linkin Park had a really special moment lined up.
“Our special guest on this one is our favourite special guest of the whole night. Our very very favourite.
“And that’s fucked up to say because there’s all these great people that’ve come out, and if I say that then it makes them look bad, but I do mean it’s our favourite guest.
“It’s you guys.”
The band then went into In The End, with Shinoda rapping the verses and leaving the epic chorus to the crowd of fans. It’s a truly spine-tingling moment that no one in the audience will ever forget.
