We all stumble but the key is getting back up.
And that’s precisely what Louis Berry is trying to convey with his latest single, “Stumbling”.
One of JOE’s 2018 Ones To Watch, Berry continues to deliver quality song after quality song and quality video after quality video. His latest offering is a powerful video to accompany his new single from his forthcoming debut album.
Directed by Ella Jones, the video for the evocative “Stumbling” is a tall glass of tenacity.
We’ve all had problems, but we’re still here, still fighting the good fight and living this thing we call life. Sometimes our problems aren’t our own, they’re our partners’, our family’s, our friends’, and in this video Berry is having a rough time trying to figure out how to help his girlfriend, who seems to be dealing with stress and suffering from mental health issues.
A powerful visual that paints a picture of struggle, it also paints a picture of love, kindness, and above all else, strength.
The track is the first to be taken from his forthcoming debut album and is produced by Berry, Marcus Foster and Koz, the Grammy winning Canadian producer responsible for music by Dua Lipa and Kendrick Lamar.
Berry said of “Stumbling”:
“It’s a song about when you’re going through things in life and you keep getting knockbacks whilst having the determination and courage to carry on through the hard times and get to a place where you want to be.”
Louis Berry will also be heading on a summer UK and EU tour, including a sold out show at Sebright Arms in London June 11th. Get more info here.
