Panic! At The Disco are readying the release of their sixth studio album.
After a week of dropping cryptic clues to their fans, Panic! At The Disco have announced that their sixth studio album, Pray For The Wicked, is on the way.
Produced by Jake Sinclair, the album will be released June 22nd via Fueled By Ramen/DCD2 Records.
Unleashing an accompanying music video for “Say Amen (Saturday Night)”, to describe it as graphic is an understatement. Have you ever seen a man stabbed in the face with a baked potato? Nah, me either until I saw this video.
Directed by longtime collaborator Daniel “Cloud” Campos and Spencer Susser, the video is the first part of a trilogy. Acting as the prequel to “This Is Gospel” and “Emperor’s New Clothes”, also directed by Cloud, it plays like Kill Bill-meets-Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
“After being away in New York for months doing Kinky Boots, I just wanted to hang out at home when I got back to L.A.. I was so revved up that I asked some friends to come over to my home studio to help me write about all the incredible things I’ve experienced the last couple of years,” said Panic! At The Disco frontman, Brendon Urie. “Pray For The Wicked is my ‘thank you’ to our fans and the most fun I’ve ever had making album.”
