Well, it’s not quite Reading & Leeds, that’s for sure
The line-up for Cheshire’s Polo Fest 2018 is making serious waves on Twitter this weekend, and you know what they say: there’s no such thing as bad publicity.
Described as “Cheshire’s Boutique Festival,” Polo Fest boasts Toploader as its Saturday night headliner.
Now if you like that, then you’ll LOVE Sunday night’s headliner. Because it’s also Toploader. Again. Two for the price of one on the whole Toploader front. Who are you to resist it? ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’ was a tune. Who wouldn’t want to hear it played live two nights in a row?
But if that’s not enough for you, they’ve also got a Gok Wan DJ set for some reason. They’ve got Simon Webbe from Blue. They’ve got something called ‘Melanie C’s 90’s Mixtape’ which like… is the kind of phrasing that makes you think Mel C won’t actually be there but apparently she will, according to her Twitter. Just as a DJ.
And they’ve got a man called Chris Hepworth! Twice!
Needless to say, Twitter is enjoying this line-up quite a lot.
Wow. There’s an actual real-life music festival for people who say ‘wine o’clock’ pic.twitter.com/ugOCLwndxP

For anyone giving out at EP this weekend (and there are always a few) just be thankful for the sheer amount of bands to see & remember you could have Toploader as a headliner on both Saturday AND Sunday pic.twitter.com/vXlqvSaGjC

And in case you are wondering, yes it is real, and yes, there are still tickets left. They can be bought here, with prices starting at £24.50. Presumably that’s for the weirdos who only want to see Toploader once.
