New Guns N’ Roses? Yes please

Get the hairspray out, put your sunglasses on indoors and slip on that dirty ripped t-shirt of yours. No, it’s not the ’80s but with the release of a previously unheard Guns N’ Roses track it certainly feels like it is.

Recorded in December 1986 as a trial, which resulted in Mike Clink getting the producer gig for the band’s seminal Appetite For Destruction album, “Shadow Of Your Love” is what every Guns N’ Roses fan wants and needs.

Why on earth it was never released until now is beyond me, it’s vintage GNR, which means it’s rock n’ roll excellence.

Taken from the upcoming Appetite For Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded Edition box set, due out June 29th, it features five discs, seven LPs and seven 7″s. It also features a bombardment of collectables, and previously unreleased tracks from the Appetite recording sessions.

Originally released July 21st 1987, Appetite For Destruction remains the best-selling U.S. debut album ever, moving over 30 million copies globally. It features tracks such as “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Nightrain”, “Paradise City”, and of course, the No. 1 single “Sweet Child O’ Mine”.
