Today marks the 50th anniversary of The White Album
Let’s be honest, The Beatles have a pretty impressive back catalogue, don’t they?
Celebrated the world over since their inception almost 60 years ago, Paul, John, George and Ringo are widely regarded the greatest band who ever lived with some of the most revered music ever recorded.
The Fab Four’s seminal self-titled double album (later known as The White Album) is 50-years-old today.
Featuring arguably some of their best work, whether you want a fun singalong (“Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”), something heavier to rock out to (“Back in the U.S.S.R.”, “Helter Skelter”) or you just want to sit back and revel in some stellar songwriting (“While My Guitar Gently Weeps” might be one of the greatest songs ever written) then The White Album has it all.
To mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ ninth studio album, we thought what better way to celebrate than test your knowledge on the lads from Liverpool who went on to take over the world.
Now before you go reaching for that brown paper bag, it’s okay, breathe easy , I haven’t listed 50 questions for 50 years – that would be testing even for the die-hard Beatles fans out there – instead there’s just 15.
