‘No main stage clashes’
Reading and Leeds Fest have announced six headliners for 2021 in a new look format which will see two main stages at each site.
The usual format of one main stage in each location, with three headliners across the weekend playing live gigs at both Reading and Leeds has been put aside in favour of a new system that is supposed to mean there will be ‘no main stage clashes’.
But, presumably, if you want to watch someone on the main stage and another act in one of the tents, and they’re on at the same time, it’s still impossible to be in two places at once.
Nevertheless, the six headliners are: Stormzy, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Post Malone, Disclosure, Lima Gallagher and Queens of the Stone Age.
Support acts include Lewis Capaldi, Two Door Cinema Club, AJ Tracey, DaBaby and Doja Cat.

The line up has received criticism from various angles, with your traditionalists complaining at the lack of rock bands (it’s 2020, there are no good new rock bands), while others have highlighted the lack of female artists on the line up.
When the first woman appears 8 lines down 🤢
