Her new Savage x Fenty range recently went live online
The clothing line owned by Rihanna has been praised for its promotion of male body positivity.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty capsule collection dropped in the last few days, and lots of people have picked up on the brand’s use of plus-size models.
For years, Fenty have released seasonal underwear collections for women from all backgrounds, shapes and sizes, but this was the first year they branched out into menswear.
One Twitter user shared images of the range online, complete with the caption: “Deadly serious this is one of the only brands I’ve seen involve male body positivity in their branding and it’s something desperately needed and not talked about nearly enough.”

Over 44 thousand people have since engaged with the post.
Body positivity has not been explored in men as much as it has been in women. This is arguably what persuaded other social media users to post comments such as:

The fact that almost 19,000 people liked the above tweet shows the feeling may resonate beyond the author.
Other people praised Rihanna and Fenty for promoting diversity in general.

Rihanna’s Fenty brand has received praise for its inclusivity in the past. In 2017, they featured plus-size female models in their marketing campaigns and in stores worldwide.
Beyond body positivity, Fenty have also been lauded for their inclusivity in skincare. A foundation they launched came with 40 different skin tones, and earlier this year they released gender-neutral skincare products.
