Are Slim Shady and Tha Doggfather about to get busy on a track together?
Not since 2000’s The Marshall Mathers LP have Eminem and Snoop Dogg collaborated on a track together, but is that about to change?
In a photograph posted on Snoop’s Instagram page the pair are pictured in a recording studio, with the caption: “Detroit. Tommoro. 8 pm. Redemption of a Dogg had to c M. To get the stamp.”
Not since “Bitch Please II”, taken from Eminem’s third album, have the two collaborated on a record. In 2001 they starred in the movie The Wash together, but as far as rapping alongside each other it’s been 18 years.

If there’s no collaboration in the works then it’s more than likely Snoop Dogg was just dropping by the Detroit studio whilst in town to visit Eminem, who we all know lives in the ‘D’.
In town promoting his stage show Redemption of a Dogg, Snoop’s new play is “an urban theatre experience ” that tells the story of a gangsta rapper, family man and man of God.
Starring Snoop and written and directed by award-winning playwright Je’Caryous Johnson, the press release states:
“Redemption of a Dogg examines the internal battle one man has between preserving his life-long legacy and losing the love of his life when he is faced with choosing fame and fortune over faith and family.”
While it’s likely this is the reason the pair got together, you can’t discount a collaboration with Eminem at the moment.
Unpredictable and erratic, he might just drop Kamikaze 2, the album where he replies to everybody who didn’t like the album that he made replying to everybody that didn’t like the previous album (if you know, you know).
With Slim Shady it’s best to always expect the unexpected.
