The Spice Girls reunion was music to fan’s ears when it was confirmed last week, though it didn’t do much for music fans.
All five of the girls met for talks with their old producer Simon Fuller and they finally agreed to give it another go. What the reunion involves is not fully clear yet, apart from bundles of cash no doubt.
According to TMZ, the girls are in the “rough planning” stages of a world tour that will kick off later this summer.
So far, no dates or venues have been confirmed, but a source did tell the publication that the group will at least be performing in the UK and the US.
But, before all that happens, it looks like there may be some drama unfolding. According to The Mirror, both Victoria and Geri want to be calling the shots.
A source said, “Geri would like to be a dominant voice, but because Victoria was so reluctant to reunite, the power balance is shifted in her favour. All five want this to run smoothly, but there is mounting tension because the ball is in Victoria’s court.
Victoria being in the driving seat is already causing a strain between some of the girls. The road ahead could get very bumpy.”
