“I’ll never die, I’m Chuck Norris/Fuck the government and fuck Boris”
The video for Stormzy’s latest banger ‘Vossi Bop’, released at midnight on Thursday, has just about everything you could ask for – from an Idris Elba cameo to a 28 Hours Later-style opening scene on a deserted Westminster Bridge in the twilight hours.
It’s the rapper’s first release since 2017’s Gang Signs & Prayer and a fine return to form, including the following gem on Brexit and Boris Johnson: “Rule number 2 don’t make the promise/ If you can’t keep the deal then just be honest/ I can never die I’m Chuck Norris/ Fuck the government and fuck Boris.”
Stormzy is one of the three headliners for Glastonbury Festival this summer, where you can see the Brit-award winning MC take over the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, June 28th.
