Fans of Jack Black are concerned over tweets sent from Tenacious D’s account.
Someone sent a tweet from the band’s account this morning to ‘confirm’ the death of Jack Black.

But it may not actually be true.
According to Media Mass, a Facebook page was set up during the week called ‘RIP Jack Black’ and it quickly gained 1 million likes with fans having a melt down thinking it was true.
But Jack’s rep confirmed yesterday that he was alive and well saying, “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.”
So now this morning since Tenacious D tweeted news about his death it’s got people wondering all over again it’s true.
One person claims to have seen him on a flight though so it may be another hoax.
I can confirm Jack Black is on an airplane back to LA and not dead

Someone else pointed out that he was on Diplo’s Snapchat last night:

UPDATE: It appears the account has hacked, and that the hacker is now asking people to follow him on Twitter:
