Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Maroon 5 frontman doesn’t seem to hold metal fans in high esteem
Leaked messages from Adam Levine to an Instagram model see him claim that “no hot chicks” listen to metal.
The Maroon 5 singer has had to deny allegations from model Sumner Stroh that he had an affair with her, after she released a TikTok video claiming she had been involved with the married dad-of-two for around a year.
But it was in messages with Instagram model Alyson Rosef that Levine gave his opinion on the demographics of metal fans.
Funnily enough, the frontman for clothes store music specialists Maroon 5 (‘This Love’, ‘Payphone’, ‘Sugar’ – you’ve heard them all in Primark), doesn’t seem to hold a particularly high opinion of female metal fans.
After Rosef said she was “so weird too and only listen to metal lol,” Levine allegedly replied: “Said no hot chicks ever other than you.”

It’s not been a great couple of days for Levine.
In her video, Stroh claimed Levine sent her messages asking if he could name his third child after her.
A number of women have since come forward claiming they received ‘flirty’ text messages from the singer whilst he was married to his wife, Behati Prinsloo.
In a statement to TMZ, Levine admitted his conversations with Stroh were sometimes “inappropriate”, but he denied having an affair.
He told the publication: “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.
“In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”
Levine and Prinsloo have been together since 2012, and after a brief split in 2013, they got engaged a couple of months later. They tied the knot in 2014 and have been together ever since – taking care of their kids, aged 4 and 5.
