The saga continues
The former First Minister Alex Salmond is set to take the Scottish government to court again due to the conduct of its most senior civil servant, Leslie Evans, the BBC has reported.
Salmond accused Evans of failing to take full responsibility for the poor handling of the sexual harassment complaints made against him. He confirmed that he will now take legal action.
The former First Minister also said that he intended to file a complaint to police over the details that were leaked to the Daily Record about the allegations made against him.
Following two allegations of sexual misconduct made against Salmond, he was investigated by the Scottish Government.
Salmond subsequently won a judicial review against the Scottish Government.
A Holyrood inquiry confirmed yesterday that the Scottish government’s handling of the sexual harassment complaints made against Alex Salmond were “seriously flawed,” the BBC reported.
