Not having it.
For the first time in their history, the BBC have revealed the amount of money that their on-screen talent are earning. Of the 96 highest earners, only a third are women with Claudia Winkleman and Alex Jones the only female stars to be paid more than £400,000 by the BBC.
In the aftermath of the recent release, BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker has called The Sun’s frontpage ‘fake news’ because both he and his co-host, Louise Minchin, are getting paid the same amount of money to host the TV show.
In their article, the newspaper stated that Minchin was ‘not impressed’ during Wednesday’s broadcast following Walker’s quip that “it’s going to be a fun day ahead.” It’;s also worth noting that during the same broadcast, Walker clarified that both TV hosts are paid the exact same amount for working on BBC Breakfast.
BBC exec should really know that we get exactly the same for BBC breakfast. I have another job on Football Focus https://t.co/zcTvaiocqX

As you may know, Walker also does work for Match of the Day, Football Focus. he also did excellent work during the recent Olympics in Rio.
I tell you what's more 'awkward'… the fact that it's not true 😂
We get paid the same for BBC Breakfast. Stop lying #FakeNews https://t.co/u1KxOxnXd4— Dan Walker (@mrdanwalker) July 19, 2017
