One of the most iconic hotels in Las Vegas, The Bellagio, was put on lockdown this morning when visitors began reporting shooting in the casino.
People began to run out of the building when armed men raided the casino. Eye witnesses took to social media to say that there was an active shooter on the loose.

It began to transpire that men dressed with pig masks entered the hotel to rob a Rolex store. They reportedly smashed the window with a sledgehammer.

The Las Vegas police confirmed that a burglary took place but any reports of an ‘active shooter’ were false.
Currently investigating burglary at @bellagio. Initial reports indicated there was an “active shooter” which was false. NO injuries.

The police also confirmed that one of the burglars fired shots inside the hotel but no one was injured.
