Four people were found dead at a terraced house on Monday morning
One of the four people who were found stabbed to death at their family home in London has been named as Dolet Hill, a former NHS worker who had just recovered from cancer surgery.
Hill, 63, was a former housekeeper at Guy’s Hospital, according to her niece Venecia Reid, who said she was “devastated” by the news of her death.
Reid told the Evening Standard: “She was a wonderful woman. She loved the church, she was such a hard worker. She had worked at Guy’s Hospital.
“She had just had cancer surgery as well. I’m devastated, I couldn’t believe it I had to come to the scene to check for myself. She had daughters, she was a wonderful woman.”
At around 1.40am on Monday morning (April 25), police were called to reports of a disturbance at a three-bedroom terraced house on Delaford Road.
According to a statement from the Met, officers found four people suffering what were believed to be stab injuries.
In an update provided on Monday afternoon, Metropolitan Police Commander Colin Wingrove confirmed the victims were three women, aged in their 60s, 40s and 30s, and a man in his 60s. They were pronounced dead at the scene “despite the efforts of emergency services.”

Commander Wingrove offered his “heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of all those concerned.”
He added: “I can assure you this investigation will be thorough to ensure justice for the victims and their families and the community.”
A man in his 20s has been arrested and remains in custody at a police station in south London.
The police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the crime.
It is thought that all of the victims and the attacker were known to each other, but enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the attack.
After news of the deaths broke this morning, London mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted that he was “heartbroken” to hear the news, adding that his “thoughts are with the family & friends of those who have lost loved ones in this awful crime.”
