The Brighton cat killer, real name Steve Bouquet, has been jailed for five years and three months for a campaign of mass slaughter of pets.
Shopping centre security guard Bouquet, 54, attacked 16 cats in Brighton, killing nine, in a case that stumped detectives for months, and captured the attentions of people nationwide.
Bouquet would move through the city unseen and unheard as he stabbed people’s pets, his trial heard.
The attacks went on between October 2018 and June 2019.
Nine cats were killed while another seven were seriously injured.
