Celebrities are sharing their very awkward teen photos to raise support funds for Puerto Rico

Great cause, dodgy pictures!

Following the devastating impact that Hurricane Maria has had in Puerto Rico, many people have been left without necessities such as food, water, electricity, and gasoline.

US President Donald Trump has lifted shipping restrictions to help fuel and supplies reach the storm-ravaged country. So far, Hurricane Maria has claimed 30 lives in the Caribbean, including at least 16 in Puerto Rico, but according to the Pentagon, 44% of the island’s population does not have clean drinking water, an estimated 90% of the homes are damaged and 25 of the island’s 69 hospitals aren’t operational.

During difficult times like these, any help is welcome and comedian Nick Kroll has introduced a novel way for Hollywood to play its part in supporting the relief campaign.

Kroll was a guest on Stephen Colbert’s show and he challenged celebrities to share photos of themselves during their awkward teen years to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Maria.

For every celebrity that takes part in the #PuberMe challenge, Colbert vowed to make a donation from his Americone Dream Fund toward hurricane relief. Kroll then promised to match Colbert’s donations.

So far, here are some of the entries.
