The pair’s announcement follows news that both Ant and Dec were dropped from a Suzuki advertising campaign over McPartlin’s drink driving charge.
Donnelly previously announced he would present the two remaining shows of Saturday Night Takeaway by himself.
McPartlin, 42, was charged with drink driving after his Mini collided with two other cars in London.
