He was accused of assaulting her in June last year
Dizzee Rascal has been found guilty of assaulting his ex-fiancée Cassandra Jones.
The 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dylan Kwabena Mills, was convicted at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, according to reports.
Mills was charged with assault on August 2, following an incident at a residential address in Streatham, south London, on June 8 last year where he was accused of pressing his forehead against Jones’ and pushing her to the ground.
Mills and Jones had been together for nine years before they split in February 2021.
They have two children together.
Mills is best known for the chart-topping singles “Bonkers” and “Dance Wiv Me”.
Mills is due to release a new album, his seventh, on October 30. His debut, Boy In Da Corner, was released in 2003.
He was made an MBE for services to music in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2020.
