We love Twitter, but if taking it away would shut Donald Trump up then we’d be all for it.
Earlier, we reported how the cast of the massively popular Hamilton musical on Broadway had directly engaged with Vice President-elect Mike Pence on Friday night.

We knew it wouldn’t take long for Pence’s big brother to come along and wave a stick at those bullies from the world of populist theatre, and Donald Trump hasn’t failed to disappoint.
He’s all for free speech, of course, unless somebody says something he doesn’t like. But we already knew this.

Trump’s suggestion that Pence was ‘harrassed’ by the cast appears to be disproved by video evidence, and indeed the cast members appeared to be the ones shutting down the booing of the Vice President-elect.
But should we expect any different from a man who just last week used facts as mere window-dressing when claiming to have stopped a Ford plant from moving to Mexico? Or a man who this week reached a settlement on a $25m lawsuit which he said he was a lock to win if it had gone to court? We’ll let you make up your own mind on that.
