“The end is near.”
A man who was very close to Donald Trump in the past has claimed that it is only a matter of time before the US President is forced to walk away.
Tony Schwartz, who is a co-author of Trump’s book of memoirs entitled The Art of the Deal, says that the President is going to go by the end of Autumn, if not sooner.
The Art of the Deal was the best-selling book of 1987, and Schwartz has argued that Trump is on the brink of stepping down and would be very surprised if he lasted beyond 2018.
Schwartz got to know Trump very well in the 1980s when he shadowed him in order to write the book but has been one of Trump’s biggest critics since he became President.
According to the Huffington Post, he has claimed that President Trump would give up his own seat in the Oval Office in order to negotiate a deal for immunity in the Russia investigation.
The circle is closing at blinding speed. Trump is going to resign and declare victory before Mueller and congress leave him no choice.

Trump's presidency is effectively over. Would be amazed if he survives till end of the year. More likely resigns by fall, if not sooner.

Trump must be isolated. Resistance every day. The end is near but must keep pressure high.

Schwartz has made similar comments in May that Trump would step down but believes that, “Trump must be isolated,” and that, “the end is near but must keep pressure high.”
