The US President has replaced the Resolute desk shortly after THAT viral press conference with Elon Musk and his son.

US President Donald Trump has replaced the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk in the White House.

The change comes shortly after Elon Musk and Grimes’ 4 year old son X Æ A-Xii Musk went viral for picking his nose by the desk during a visit to the White House.

Coincidence?

President Trump shared on his Truth Social account yesterday: “A President, after election, gets a choice of 1 in 7 desks.”

“This desk, the ‘C&O,’ which is also very well-known and was used by President George H.W. Bush and others, has been temporarily installed in the White House while the Resolute Desk is being lightly refinished—a very important job,” he added.

Elon Musk and X were hosted at the White House by Trump on February 12, in a press conference that later went viral.

The 4 year old was at one point seen stood behind the Resolute Desk between his dad and the president picking his nose.

President Trump, a former self -proclaimed ‘germophobe’ didn’t react to the encounter, however praised the toddler during his visit, labelling him a ‘high-IQ individual’.

“This is X, and he’s a great guy—high IQ,” Trump told reporters at the event.

While the US President didn’t share the reasoning for the switch, he did call it a ‘beautiful, but temporary replacement’.

The desk had been used during the entirety of Trump’s previous presidency, as well as on several occasions, including to sign executive orders. since his second-term inauguration last month.
