Goodbye Xavier Alexander Musk, hello Vivian Wilson
Elon Musk’s daughter is a Musk no more, after a court granted her request to ditch her famous name and her recorded gender.
An LA County Superior Judge reportedly signed off the on the name change for Vivian Jenna Wilson, according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday. Wilson is Vivian’s mother, Justine Wilson’s, maiden name.
The judge also granted a gender change. Vivian identifies as female and her birth certificate is reportedly being re-issued by the state register.
Vivian, who recently turned 18, identifies as a trans woman and had filed a request to change her name in accordance with her new gender at the Los Angeles County superior court, Santa Monica, in April.

“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form”, a court petition seen by Reuters stated.
Vivian was formerly known as Xavier Alexander Musk and is the daughter of the business tycoon and his first wife, Justine Wilson. The couple separated in 2008.
Wilson earlier said she was “very proud” of their child’s plans to cut ties with her billionaire dad.
In 2o2o, Musk tweeted his support for the transgender community, but added that “all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare”.
"I had a weird childhood," my 18 year old said to me. "I can't believe I'm as normal-seeming as I am."
I said, "I'm very proud of you."
"I'm proud of myself!"
