John Eisenman murdered his daughter’s boyfriend, who he claimed sold her into sex trafficking.
The fiancé of a father charged with killing his daughter’s boyfriend because he believed he sold her into sex trafficking has spoken out about the incident, saying that she is “very proud” of her partner.
On 29 October, 60-year-old John Eisenmann was arrested for the murder of Andrew Sorenson, after the 19-year-old’s body was found in the boot of a car on October 22.
Eisenmann is said to have learned last year that his underrage daughter, who was going out with Sorenson, had been sold to a sex-trafficking organisation, and believed Sorenson to be responsible for this.
According to local police, the murder happened in November 2020.
Now, Eisenman’s fiancé, Brenda Kross has broken her silence on the case, saying she was grateful for the support her partner was receiving, such as a GiveSendGo fundraising campaign to help cover his legal fees which has raised more than $41,000 so far.
Kross told KHQ, via the Independent, that Eisenmann’s actions were “something that a lot of men say they would do for their daughter,” adding that he is “the best father I could have ever had for my children.”
She continued: “I’m very proud of John and I’m blessed to have had him in my life and I want him back home.”

Eisenmann is accused of killing Sorenson after abducting him, tying him up and placing him in the boot of a car registered in his name.
He then allegedly killed Mr Sorensen by striking him on the head with a cinder block and stabbing him repeatedly.
After the killing, Mr Eisenman ditched the car in North Spokane County, police said. It remained there until October this year, when it was driven to a residential neighbourhood of Northeast Spokane by an unidentified third party who is not believed to have known there was a body in the trunk.
The body was only discovered on October 2022 when people noticed a foul stench coming from the car.
Eisenmann was then arrested for first-degree murder. He is currently being held on $1m bail at the Spokane County Jail.
