She has been giving any tips regarding Laundrie to the FBI
A prominent Florida lawyer has put out a $20,000 bounty on Gabby Petito’s boyfriend Brian Laundrie following the confirmation of her death and his subsequent disappearance.
Tatiana Boohoof, a mother of two and lawyer, spoke to Fox News on Friday about her decision to place the bounty.
“I think a missing child is every parent’s worst nightmare,” she said.
“Our hearts go out to her family and to the community, and we hope that together we can get some answers and get justice for Gabby.”
The world has followed the Gabby Petito case closely since her mother reported her missing on September 11. Through the accidental filming of Petito and Laundrie’s van, FBI and Police officials were able to track down what they believed to be her body in a Wyoming park.
On Wednesday, the FBI confirmed that the body was that of the Instagram Influencer and also confirmed that the manner of death was a homicide. The exact cause of death has not yet been revealed and will reportedly be discovered after a full autopsy.
Boohoof will give $20k to “the first person to supply information leading directly to the exact whereabouts” of Laundrie.
“We have an office in North Port, and our employees work and live there,” Boohoff said. “We serve clients there – and we want to do what we can to help find answers and get justice.”
Any tips given to Boohoof have been forwarded to the FBI in the hopes of tracking Laundrie down.
On Friday, the FBI issued an arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie in connection with the death of his girlfriend. He was last seen by his parents on September 14.
In a tweet, FBI Denver said: “On September 22, 2021, the U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant for Brian Christopher Laundrie pursuant to a Federal Grand Jury indictment related to Mr. Laundrie’s activities following the death of Gabrielle Petito.”
