Darius’ death was announced on Tuesday
Following the tragic news of Darius Danesh’s death, fans have wondered whether he was receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic as he was staying nearby.
Danesh’s family announced his death on Tuesday in a statement that spoke to the “great sadness” they felt. While police ruled out any “signs of intent or suspicious circumstances”, the exact cause of death is yet to be revealed.
This has sparked theories surrounding the 41-year-old’s health, mostly because he was staying close to the Mayo Clinic’s 1,265-bed Saint Marys Campus. According to the Mirror, the theories emerged after Danesh’s former wife Natasha Henstridge, 48, posted her own statement on Instagram.
She wrote: “I have found the paradox that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt – only more love – Mother Theresa.” Natasha, who was married to the singer between 2011 and 2018, added: “There are no words Darius… only Love Love Love.”

Fans have questioned why Danesh was living at the Berkman apartments in Rochester, Minnesota, when most of his adult life has been spent in California. Most recently, he was pictured with pal Gerard Butler in Malibu on June 11.
The apartments are described as the premier residence for “elegant short-term and long-term furnished suites and residential living.” Most tenants are typically patients of the clinic or work there.
As reported in the Daily Record, Rochester police responded to a “deceased person call” at 11.53 am on August 11. Another call was made minutes later, with the operator stating: “No need to respond.”
