Right, let’s begin with something that has absolutely nothing to do with the general election, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
If you watched the show then you might remember the episode when ‘The Gang Runs for Office’ as Frank (Danny De Vito) informs us that “you have to be a real low life piece of shit to get involved in politics.”
Well, here’s Frank* endorsing Jeremy Corbyn.

Right, but that’s not the most important rallying call that you’ll see this afternoon because over the last few months, Jonathan Pie has been one of the most influential online voices in the general election campaign.
Ignore the fact that his unique way of getting “the kids” politically engaged is by swearing at them because he raises some vitally important issues while acknowledging the fact that “yes, politics is f**king boring but that doesn’t make it unimportant”.
For younger voters, issues like unemployment, a job market that’s brimming with unpaid internships, rising tuition fees and the housing sector are all incredibly pertinent.
In this excellent video, the reporter makes a passionate, articulate and extremely sweary plea for every single voter to exercise their democratic vote.
It doesn’t matter how you vote, that’s your democratic right, but it just matters that you do.

You must register to vote by midnight on Monday 22 May. If you want a postal vote, you must apply here by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May.
If you want a proxy vote (someone to vote for you), you must apply by Wednesday 31 May. For an emergency proxy vote, for example if you end up in hospital, it’s 5pm on the day of the election.
