But the latest effort is far more achievable than air strikes and the like, and critics of military action will argue it is far more cost-effective.
Members of the 4chan messageboard have replaced the heads of Isis fighters on propaganda photos with those of rubber ducks – we’re not sure if it’s a step up or a step down from the recent erectile dysfunction prank, but it’s no less ridiculous.
And there are no half-measures – they’ve trawled through dozens of photos to make the changes in a project described as ‘the duck state’.
