The rapper was recently under fire for a string of antisemitic posts he made on X.

US rapper Ye, also known as Kanye West, has taken to X to announce that he does not see himself as a Nazi following “further reflection.”

In a post he wrote yesterday, West said: “After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.”

His post comes two weeks after he went on a tirade on the social media platform, which saw him make several offensive and antisemitic posts.

Some of the posts he made during the rant included: “I LOVE HITLER. NOW WHAT B***ES.

“IM A NAZI.

“IM RACIST STEREO TYPES EXIST FOR A REASON AND THEY ALL BE TRUE.

“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS I CAN WHATEVER THE F*** I WANNA SAY FOREVER WHERES MY F***ING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS SUCK MY D*** HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY.”

He also uploaded a t-shirt with a swastika on it to his website for sale. It has since been taken down.

His comments led to many celebrities calling for him to be banned from X, including Friends star David Schwimer.

In a post to Instagram, Schwimmer pleaded with X owner Elon Musk to ban West.

He said: “We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk.

“Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X.

“That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence.

“His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.”
