The reality star is due to appear in court this morning
Katie Price has been charged with driving while disqualified and without insurance after crashing her car on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear at Crawley Remand Court on Wednesday morning following her arrest.
Price, who is banned from driving, is accused of flipping her BMW on a country road at 6.20am near West Grinstead.
She was taken to hospital after the crash but is not believed to have been seriously injured.
A photograph tweeted by a local police officer of the crash showed a damaged BMW lying on its side across both lanes, its front lodged in the hedgerow, after the crash.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said on Tuesday that the force had responded to a single-vehicle collision on the B2135 near Partridge Green around 6.20am.
“A woman, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving while above the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and has been taken to hospital to be checked over.”

Price’s arrest comes after friends of the mother-of-five suggested her partying was “out of control” and had “ramped up over the past few weeks”, the Mirror reported, and her family also expressed concerns.
In a statement on her Instagram account on Tuesday evening, Price’s family said their “worst fears nearly came true.”

They admitted that they had been “concerned” about Price’s wellbeing for some time and urged fans to send positive messages of support.
The statement read: “Today our worst fears nearly came true.
“As a family we have been and will continue to help Kate get the help she needs. We hope that she will realise that she cannot battle her issues alone.
“We would kindly ask that the media and wider public give Kate the time and space she needs to seek the necessary treatment, so that she can hopefully return to the Kate we know and love as a mother, daughter and sister.”
