Katie Price would be the first to admit that her romantic life over the years has been complicated.
Yesterday, she revealed that Oscar Pistorius was messaging her during his trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The revelation came during Price’s stint on Loose Women, where the panel was talking about people in prison for committing murder.
The attention turned to Katie and how Pistorius had contacted her through private messages on Twitter.
When asked how it began she said: “I mentioned him in a column I did for a magazine and it started from there. He was thanking me and just I thought, ‘Oh, is this really him?’ My brother said, ‘Look at your messages’, and then he had a verified tick. It was definitely him.”
But she knew that she had to put an end to it, saying: “It got to the point where I thought, ‘Actually, I don’t want to message. I don’t want to cross that barrier where I’ve got dialogue’.”
She added: “I wasn’t being biased or anything because at the time it was all in the media talking about the case. I was saying you’ve got to let the courts decide. Don’t judge anyone until the courts decide.”

Pistorius is due be sentenced next month for the murder of Steenkamp. The ex-Paralympian’s culpable homicide conviction and its accompanying five-year prison sentence was overturned by South Africa’s supreme court last December, when appeal judges instead ruled him guilty of murder.
His sentencing hearing will take place from June 13 – 17. Right now he is living at his uncle’s home in Pretoria, and remains on bail until the hearing. Pistorius is wearing a tracking device on his wrist to curtail his movements outside the home.
