Political Editor for the Daily Mirror, Pippa Crerar, posted quotes from Anneliese Dodds. The Chair of the Labour party had the following to say:
“If Matt Hancock has been secretly having a relationship with an adviser in his office… it is a blatant abuse of power and a clear conflict of interest.
Matt Hancock: If you break the rules you should resign.
Also Matt Hancock: I broke the rules. I'm not resigning.

“The charge sheet against Matt Hancock includes wasting taxpayers’ money, leaving care homes exposed and now being accused of breaking his own COVID rules.
“His position is hopelessly untenable. Boris Johnson should sack him.”
Of course, Hancock has since apologised for breaking the rules he himself implemented but is yet to make a statement about the affair.
I'll say it again: Matt Hancock should resign. https://t.co/PZyubzOfZn

“Matt Hancock is a terrible Health Secretary and should have been sacked a long time ago for his failures.
“This latest episode of hypocrisy will break the trust with the British public. He was telling families not to hug loved ones, while doing whatever he liked in the workplace.”
With the Liberal Democrats also weighing in, the UK’s political parties are starting to resemble the next instalment of the Purge franchise. The party’s health spokeswoman Munira Wilson did not mince her words when she spoke on the matter.
“Matt Hancock is a terrible Health Secretary and should have been sacked a long time ago for his failures.
“This latest episode of hypocrisy will break the trust with the British public. He was telling families not to hug loved ones, while doing whatever he liked in the workplace.”
She continued: “From the PPE scandal, the crisis in our care service and the unbelievably poor test and trace system, he has utterly failed. It is time for the Health Secretary to go.”
