Do you think Logan Paul has heard the phrase ‘quit while you’re ahead’? Or heard the tale of Icarus, who flew too close to the sun and plummeted to his death? Because it seems like he’s getting a tad cocky after lasting eight rounds against Floyd Mayweather.

The YouTuber/’boxer’ has said that he reckons he could beat 54-year-old Mike Tyson, bragging that he thinks he could take on the former boxing great because he’s “old, old.”
Unsurprisingly, Paul’s lawyer wasn’t too keen on the idea either.
Speaking on his YouTube show, Impaulsive, Logan said: “Someone mentioned Mike Tyson. My lawyer mentioned it and he’s like, ‘Nah, Tyson will rip your head off, you don’t stand a chance.’
“I’m like, ‘I just went through all this.’ You can’t tell me I can’t beat Mike Tyson. He’s old, old.”
This was despite one of Paul’s co-hosts pointing out to him that Tyson is “pretty mean,” in what is probably a contender for understatement of the decade.

Well, it seems that everyone on social media had the same reaction to this claim from Paul, with most concluding that a) Mike Tyson would absolutely destroy Paul and b) it would be very entertaining to see Tyson do this.
One user said that Tyson would “hit Logan Paul so hard he would time travel,” with another saying that “one Tyson bob and weave uppercut and Jake Paul would be waking Logan up to retire on the spot.”

There is tension between the two, after Mike Tyson openly said that Floyd Mayweather would beat Logan Paul. This wasn’t forgotten by the YouTuber either, as he then called out Tyson in the post-match press conference for doubting him.
Paul said after he was fight with Mayweather that Mike Tyson was on a list that he had kept of people who had doubted him saying: “You’re all fucked. Mike Tyson is on it [the list]. He told me on my own podcast: ‘Floyd is going to beat his ass.’ That’s what he said. Floyd didn’t beat my fucking ass, Mike.”
