Man shoots himself in the face in a weird attempt to be famous

Please don't try this at home.

This is…. an odd one.

Young US struggle rapper musician Kasper Knight recently found himself at a loose end, looking for a new way to establish himself as one of the hottest new talents on the scene.

While most young rappers would opt for more traditional methods to get a word of mouth buzz, like doing a quick tour, taking part in a few battle raps or taking to social media to promote their mixtape (please stop DMing verified people on Twitter, it does nothing to help), Kasper decided to try something a lot more… ‘unique’ to get his name out there.

Taking (what is hoped to be) a legally purchased fire arm, Kasper Knight uploaded a video with his gun to talk about his street credentials.

So far, so usual. Rappers take videos and photos of themselves posing with guns all the time.

Only in this video, Kasper Knight decides to take his gun, place it on his cheek, and shoot himself in the face.

Graphic footage of the alleged incident can be found in the video below. Please proceed with caution before viewing, and in no way do we endorse what Kasper Knight does.

Kasper was quick to explain his actions on social media, uploading a Facebook status elaborating on his plan to use shooting himself in the face for viral fame.

Saying that he’d be shot before, so the pain was familiar, Kasper detailed how he cared not for the opinions of people who weren’t paying him, before saying he wished he used a different gun.

The rapper also states that Worldstar Hip Hop have now expressed interest in owning his video since the upload, so before he makes it big, Kasper advises us to ask him a question concerning his “books, art gallery and mediocre rap/rock videos”, while he still has time on his hands.

We have a question Kasper – why was this a better idea than getting some studio time for a new mixtape?

Would be less painful too.
