McDonald’s is going to start delivering in parts of New York City.
Now customers will no longer have to leave the comfort of their own home to chow down on a Big Mac.
The 24/7 service will be available to people in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens from 88 restaurants in the area.
There are a couple of snags though – there will be a delivery charge and ice-cream cones will be available for collection only (probably for the best really).
The fast food giant has introduced the delivery service after facing stiff competition from  rival chains such as Chipotle.
This is no means a radical game changer for McDonald’s. The fast food behemoth has been dropping Happy Meals to people’s doorsteps in Asia for years.
The McDonald’s big wigs have claimed that should the new service be successful in New York, they plan on rolling it out into other cities across the States.
It’s only a matter of time now…
