It’s a question we’ve all pondered for many years. No, not ‘how the hell is Brendan Rodgers still managing Liverpool?’
It’s the age-old ‘is there life on Mars?’ conundrum.
But NASA may have taken a giant step towards finding out whether we’re alone in the solar system with a pretty cool discovery on the Red Planet.
The US space agency has reported that liquid water has been found on Mars.

Not only does this have mind-blowing implications for the possibility of finding extra terrestrial life, but also for the human race’s own designs of colonising Mars.
The internet reacted in classic fashion to the news…

It'd be great if this water on Mars news was found to be just viral marketing for the Matt Damon film

Water found on Mars. Perfectly timed with the release of the Matt Damon movie The Martian this weekend. That is some serious marketing.

They'll find life on Mars before I find on a man on Earth.

For real though, happy for Mars, proud of that stupid red planet, about time they did something cool.
