*Rushes out to buy a ticket*.
Regular lottery punters last night saw the first Euromillions draw since the ticket price went up by 50p to £2.5o, where an eye-watering £112m top prize was up for grabs.
It was the biggest jackpot of 2016 so far, but nobody claiming every required number means the draw on Tuesday night could pay out a frankly outrageous £121m.
No player managed to match the five numbers 17, 35, 37, 43, 44 with the two Lucky Stars 02 and 10.
Some came tantalisingly close: six players managed the five main numbers and one of the lucky stars.
Still, that won them £262,531.70, which is nothing to sniff at.
Fifteen people matched the five main numbers to win £24,458.60, and 84 players matched four numbers and both Lucky Stars, nabbing them £2,136.30.
But the big one is still up for grabs come Tuesday night.
The hike in ticket prices has annoyed some customers, although Camelot say it means bigger jackpots in the future and more millionaire prizes to dish out to lucky number-pickers.
But the shake-up means players now have an extra number to choose from. They can pick a total of five from 5o numbers and two from 12 Lucky Stars.
The Euromillions draw takes place at 7:30pm on Tuesday. Feel free to send us gifts if you’re a winner.
