Anyone for the Big Apple this summer?
A new airline is offering cheap flights to New York from London’s Gatwick Airport this summer, with round-trip prices starting from as little as £255.
Norse Atlantic Airways has announced that its budget carriers will be scheduling return flights between Gatwick and John F. Kennedy International Airport from August 12 onwards.
Our first UK route from London Gatwick to New York JFK will take off on 12 August. Tickets are on sale now with return flights from the UK from £255.

The flight operator which was founded in February 2021 and is due to launch its maiden journey from Oslo to NYC on June 14, not to mention the airline is set to offer daily flights to various US cities.
The company is currently comprised of 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and although Reuters reports that they currently sub-lease four aircraft to Spain’s Air Europa, they are hoping to expand their fleet throughout this year and into 2023.

Norse Atlantic boss Bjorn Tore Larsen said in a statement: “We are very pleased to now be able to welcome customers looking to book great value flights between London Gatwick and New York JFK.
“Customers now have an affordable option allowing them to book a last-minute trip or a holiday of a lifetime with an airline that offers choice and flexibility.”
While the fledgling flight operators might be trying to undercut the competition as post-covid travel restrictions continue to ease, other popular airlines like Jet2 and Ryanair have also begun to offer cut-price travel in recent weeks.
Elsewhere, the European travel industry is also targeting pre-pandemic levels as the likes of Spain have now announced that unvaccinated Brits will be allowed into the country, needing only to provide a negative test before entering.
