Remember the story of Dear David?
We all love a good ghost story and one of the most spine-tingling tales we have heard is now set to be made into a movie.
The story of Dear David is coming to the big screen.
Adam Ellis, who goes by @moby_dickhead on Twitter, started sharing the story on the social media platform last year.
So, my apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he's trying to kill me. (thread)

It was about the ghost of a child who was haunting his apartment – and just about everyone who came across it was hooked instantly.
He began the story by writing: “My apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he’s trying to kill me.”
He started appearing in dreams, but I think he's crossed over into the real world now.

From there, he showed what he claimed was photographs of a boy with part of his head missing – which he said fits the description of David.
The illustrator said that David has spooked both him and his cats, Piper and Maxwell, and even followed him after he left New York on vacation.
He had a huge misshapen head that was dented on one side. I did my best to draw it: pic.twitter.com/AJizlw7qXe

According to The Wrap, Buzzfeed Studios is going to be partnering with Dan Lin, the producer of It.
Mike Van Waes, the writer of The Conjuring spin-off The Crooked Man, is also attached to the project.
Ellis told the publication: “I’ve never been interested in convincing anyone that ghosts are real–I just wanted to tell my story.
“If it was all fiction, I probably would’ve updated more than once every couple weeks.”
