Piers Morgan isn’t a man to hold back his opinions, which makes it all the more entertaining when someone else calls him out on it.
On today’s edition of Good Morning Britain, the presenter turned his sights on David and Victoria Beckham, and their habit of sharing videos of their kids on social media.
In particular, he referenced recent videos of 11-year-old Cruz Beckham singing and performing songs, which were huge viral hits.
As David posts another video of Cruz singing, could the Beckhams be trying to build the next Bieber? https://t.co/YS3W5aPBdL

During a discussion with showbiz editor Richard Arnold about Cruz’s version of ‘The Cup Song’ that David shared yesterday, Morgan opined:
“Celebrity parents bang on about protecting their kids and privacy, and there they are Instagramming this 11-year-old to gazillions of people, trying to make him a star the way [his brother] Brooklyn is a photographer. Can’t they just be kids, really? Then when they leave school, make their own decisions, and if they want to go into this kind of thing, great. This to me is just shameless.”

There was a bit of mixed response to Morgan’s criticism of the Beckhams:

Fully agree with @piersmorgan re Cruz Beckham. I find it slightly nauseating that they want him to be part of 'brand Beckham' he's a child!

However, there still seems to be support for young Cruz’s pop ambitions…
Woahhhhh Cruz Beckham genuinely has a really nice voice!!!… I wanna record a cover with him or something…

Ok I epically failed at 'the cup song' live on @itvthismorning 😂🙈 Cruz Beckham makes it look easy!!

Of course, there are a few doubters too…
How much more do people like us have to suffer watching Cruz Beckham singing? 🙄 #thismorning

They're going to force Cruz Beckham on us as a popstar. It's going to happen. And it's all your fault.
