Police ask anyone with information about the suspect to come forward
Police have released an e-fit image of the male suspect who exposed himself to a woman during the Sarah Everard vigil on Clapham common on 13 March.
The incident occurred at approximately 8pm on 13 March, when hundreds of people came together to remember the 33-year-old marketing executive who was taken from the streets of London and found dead a week later in woodland near Ashford in Kent.
A Met Police officer has since been charged with Sarah Everard’s kidnap and murder and is set to go on trial in October.
The incident of indecent exposure occurred as a woman walked on Clapham Common Southside, near the junction with Windmill Drive, police said.
The male suspect is described as white, approximately 50 years of age, around 5ft 6in tall with grey hair. He was reportedly wearing a red waistcoat or vest over a shirt and pale trousers.

Detective Constable Luke Flood, of Lambeth Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area or who can help identify this man involved to contact police. Clapham Common was extremely busy on that Saturday evening with people attending a vigil.
“Many people would have been filming or taking pictures and I would ask them to check any material they captured to see if they can identify the man described.
“We also cannot discount that there may have been other incidents of this nature in and around the Clapham Common area. I would urge anyone who has any information to get in contact.
“An incident of indecent exposure can be an extremely distressing offence for those who witness it and it is one police take very seriously. Officers have spoken to the victim in this case to offer her support and ensure she is kept updated with the progress of the investigation.”
The Met Police have been widely criticised for their handling of the Sarah Everard vigil in Clapham.
London’s mayor Sadiq Khan took to Twitter to demand an explanation for the scenes at the south London vigil.
The scenes from Clapham Common are unacceptable. The police have a responsibility to enforce Covid laws but from images I've seen it's clear the response was at times neither appropriate nor proportionate. I'm contact with the Commissioner & urgently seeking an explanation.

One woman, who was tackled to the ground by police, said she was left “terrified” by the experience.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Patsy Stevenson said: “I still don’t know why I was pushed to the ground so forcefully. I’m quite small and it was two very large male officers who pulled me back very quickly as I hit the ground.”
She told GMB co-host Susanna Reid: “I was terrified. I’ve never been so scared.”
