“I’m a bit of a cross between The Rock and Vin Diesel.”
A police officer from Alabama has gone viral for his remarkable resemblance to actor and former wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The comparisons between Morgan County Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields and Johnson began earlier this months when the official Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page uploaded a photo of the officer.
In the picture, Fields can be seen smiling as he leans against a police van donning some very Rock-esque shades and a perfectly bald head.
The picture racked up over 1,600 likes and hundreds of comments from people remarking on how much the officer looks like the Jumanji star.

One commented: “Why is The Rock in this photo? Just wondering.”
Another said: “Umm is that the Rock?”
A third joked “Can you smelllll what the cop is bookin,” with another adding “Dwayne The Cop Johnson”
The cop’s lookalike-ness even made its way to TikTok.

In another Facebook post, the department revealed that a Walmart employee had even asked to have his photo taken with Fields because of his similarity to The Rock.
The sheriff’s office wrote: “This gentleman recently ran into Sgt Mason and informed him he wanted to meet our Deputy that people say looks like ‘The Rock.
“Sgt Mason passed that along and Lieutenant Fields was happy to swing by the Hartselle Walmart to see him. Tyler is one of their many hard workers and it was great to meet him and some of his coworkers!”
Again, the resemblance is just uncanny.

But Fields has embraced his new-found fame, saying that he’s been “having fun with it.”
He told WVTM 13 reporter Rick Karles: “I’m a bit of a cross between The Rock and Vin Diesel.
“Remember, The Rock is six-foot-four, 260 pounds, and I’m only 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. There is a big difference between the two of us.”
