The rapper is okay following what he described as a ‘very bad’ car accident
DeAndre Cortez Way, known professionally as Soulja Boy, was in a car accident in LA on Saturday night.
He took to Twitter to announce that he was in a dangerous accident as a result of the flash flooding and mud slides in Los Angeles, Califonia.
He went on to tell his five million followers that his car almost went into the ocean.
He wrote on social media: “Was involved in a very bad car accident last night due to a flash flood and mudslide.”
Going on to retweet a photo of cars stuck in sludge, the musician added: “My car got stuck too almost went into the ocean.”

Soulja Boy rose to fame in 2007 with his songs ‘Crank That’ and ‘Kiss Me Through The Phone’, and has been relatively quiet in the music scene since.
Local media reports in California said that mudslides and flooding shut down the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu near the Los Angeles and Ventura County line on Saturday.
