Salah has called on world leaders to intervene as fighting intensifies
Mo Salah has called on world leaders to do everything they can to “make sure the violence and killing of innocent people stops immediately” as fighting between Israeli forces and militant groups in Gaza intensified.
The Liverpool forward tweeted Boris Johnson on Tuesday, after Palestinian militants claimed to have fired 130 missiles at the Israeli city of Tel Aviv in response to an Israeli air strike which destroyed a tower block in the Gaza Strip. The building had reportedly been evacuated prior to the attack.
“I’m calling on all the world leaders including on the Prime Minister of the country that has been my home for the past 4 years to do everything in their power to make sure the violence and killing of innocent people stops immediately,” Salah’s tweet read.
“Enough is enough,” he added, before copying in the Prime Minister.
