Saw Jigsaw actor praised for response after kid asked ‘do you want to play a game’

‘Tobin in his mind probably thinking, are they really letting their kid watch Saw?’

The star of the cult horror Saw is being praised for the way he dealt with a young fan’s request.

With a new instalment of the horror franchise set to hit cinemas – Saw X is due October 27 – fans are developing a real bloodlust for anything Saw-related, like the first poster that was released just a few weeks ago.

A video on YouTube showing one young fan meeting the man behind the mask – and many nightmares, Tobin Bell – has since gone viral, clocking up almost 130,000 views.

Bell has played John Kramer, aka Jigaw, since the series began in 2004.

Thankfully, in real life, Bell is a real sweetheart, more than happy to give movie fans the time of day.

In the clip, the fan is seen approaching Bell and using his famous line.

The kid says: “I have a question.”

Bell replies: “Yeah, fire away. I have a question too.”

The actor lets the kid go first and he doesn’t miss a trick: “Do you want to play a game?”

Bell then replies: “I do want to play a game. But let’s start with a pound, ok?”

The pair then fist-bump.

“Ok, now, that’s the start of the game, now, give me your hand,” Bell continues, and shakes the young fan’s hand.

People praised the way Bell handled the interaction.

One fan wrote: “Tobin is such a nice guy. Absolutely love actors who are just flat out nothing like the characters they play.”

But many had the same thought: “Tobin in his mind probably thinking, ‘are they really letting their kid watch Saw?'”

Another echoed the sentiment: “I’m surprised he didn’t ask the parents, ‘What are you letting this kid watch?’ But he really seems to be a nice guy. Would’ve been nice if the parents could’ve let the kid ask the question without interjecting, Tobin was only messing about when he said, ‘I have a question too’.”
